Japanese entertainment star Takuya Kimura has thrilled fans with the announcement of his “Takuya Kimura Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint.” This tour is set to make history for Kimura, as it includes his first-ever solo concerts outside Japan, with performances scheduled in Taipei on November 13 and 14 at the Taipei Music Center.
The tour spans nine performances across five cities, kicking off on September 9 and wrapping up on November 23. Aside from the landmark shows in Taipei, Kimura will take to the stage in Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Chiba in Japan, as well as Seoul. Notably, the Taipei concerts coincide with Kimura’s 54th birthday, adding a festive note to this milestone in his solo career.
In conjunction with his tour announcement, Kimura also shared plans for a summer release of his new original album, “Checkpoint.” This album signifies a pivotal moment in his music career, marking a fresh artistic chapter as he embarks on this international journey.
